The descaler is designed to clean all metal surfaces and tiles internally from grime and scale.

WHAT IS THIS PRODUCT?

RUST & SCALE is a fast-acting, non-fuming rust and scale remover for dissolving lime, and rust residues from metal surfaces.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

RUST & SCALE is based on an organic-acid complex which, unlike hydrochloric acid, is non-fuming. This means it has no odour and fumes, but still has acid reserves to keep reacting with rust and scale. The acidity in this product dissolves the lime component, resulting in water-soluble salts that can be washed away.

PRODUCT USE & APPLICATION: (INCLUDE DILUTION RATE)

Apply neat (undiluted) RUST & SCALE with a foamer, spraygun or brush to the dry hardened concrete. Leave in contact for 15 minutes. If CR-60 evaporates and leaves a white residue, do not rinse it off, simply apply more RUST & SCALE to keep it reacting. Then apply another coating. Keep the surface wet with RUST & SCALE. The concrete will turn soft and come off the surface after total soak time of 20-30 minutes. Rinse off with cold water via a pressure washer. Brushing during the soak time will assist in removing the concrete more quickly. Very thick build-ups may need another treatment to ensure complete removal.

Metal Cleaning:

Make up a cleaning bath mixing 1 part RUST & SCALE to 10 parts water. To expedite the cleaning process, you can heat the bath. Leave for the desired time. Rinse clean the apply surface protectant.
